Lamberth Consulting to conduct Data Collection and Benchmarking in Washing, DC.
Washington, DC - June 2005 Lamberth Consulting has been contracted by the Metropolitan Police Department to conduct a Data Collection and Benchmarking Service. Lamberth Consulting will identify appropriate benchmarking data and locations throughout DC. This benchmarking will establish the racial and ethnic demographic for any given locality. As well as the appropriate data collection instrument. After completion of the benchmarks, Lamberth will analyze the data and provide a report on the findings to the Dristrict. The goal of the Biased Police Project, initiated by the Metropolitan Police Department and which began in 2002, is to strengthen partnerships with the community by ensuring that the delivery of police services in the Metropolitan Police Department is free of any bias.
